3 Year Old Lines

I love when she says stuff that makes total sense to her. Sometimes I forget that she doesn't actually know what things say or hasn't ever had them before so she isn't sure what they are called. Like the other day, she picked a pack of gummy life savers as her treat, but never actually knew what they were, so when she tried to explain it to Kyle, it was very interesting to me to see how she preceived them. Today she gave me the best line:

"6 Minutes ago I have gone crazy!"

I love it!

It So Wasn't Worth It......

I was craving ice cream, so I talked Kyle into going to .....

First of all, it wasn't the one in Centerville, second, they no longer have my favorite nerd blizzard and Kjerstin was always my partner in crime for blizzards. I should have taken Kyle up on his offer to make me a nerd shake at home. Because it so wasn't worth it.

Dinosaur Park

Just a few pictures from Libbi's trip to the dinosaur park in Ogden with Grandma Cynthia's preschool classes. She had lots of fun and was worn out when she came home from Grandma's tonight. A big thanks to my parents for all they do for us and for her! Libbi says her favorite dinosaurs are the ones that don't have sharp teeth because their toenails are painted!

Happy Easter.....A Few Days Late

Do you ever get side tracked? Hmmm....well, I think along with procrastination, it should be my middle name. I have been meaning to post all of this for a week now and have yet to do it. So here goes. We had an enjoyable weekend. Kyle was planning to go to Little Sahara Sand Dunes for Easter weekend with some of the guys he works with. When one of them backed out, I decided I would go and Kyle talked Dusty and Amanda into accompaning us also. So we planned a little overnight road trip. Libbi opted to go to Grandma Cynthia and "Crock-a-molie's" house. A HUGE thank you to them for letting Libbi spend the weekend with them. I was in need of a little R&R and I got it. Here are a few moments from our weekend.

I learned to drive with a trailer....even if it was a small and light one. We drove to the sand dunes and found a little corner of the world to park and camp in the rain at the base of Sand Mountain. Of Course, we left right after Kyle got off work. We only had one small mechanical problem. The truck had been riding really rough all day and when we were about to hook the trailer up, Kyle looked under and found that the back drive line (this means nothing to me) was about to come undone, which would have been bad for us. They fixed it and we were on our way! Lucky for us, it only rained lightly and then cleared up. I didn't do a very good job packing for our trip, since I left the hamburgers for dinner at home in the freezer and we had no firewood for a fire. Good thing we found nice people who gave us some firewood. Thanks a million! On Sunday, Kyle stayed in bed until almost 8:30 before he was up and ready to ride his motorcycle. It was a beautiful day! Big fluffy white clouds on a perfect blue sky and warm enough in the sun to be comfortable. Here are some pictures of both Kyle and Dusty riding: Kyle waiting at the bottom of Sand Mountain for somebody to race This was Dusty's first time jumping Dusty's second time jumping: And thanks to Kyle's long arms, a picture of the 4 of us: And a new, but not the greatest picture of us: Since Libbi was spending the weekend with Grandma, I met them Saturday afternoon so she could go to the annual "Ditch Picnic" with my Dad's cousins. She said she had fun. She got to die easter eggs with Grandma Saturday night and go to sunbeams on Sunday morning. After church, she came home to find the Easter Bunny had filled her basket with plenty of suprises: After opening many suprises from the East Bunny, it was off to Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Parrish's for dinner and an egg hunt. The beginning of the hunt: The end of the hunt.....She must have found them all. That was the enjoyment of our Easter weekend. I'm going to try to post some video of Kyle on his bike, but I haven't seemed to grasp how to do that just yet. I hope you enjoyed the pictures and that you all had a Happy Easter!

Oh Goodness.......

Lot's has been happening this week and since this is my "journal" I need to take some time to get everything up here. My goal is to get all the things I want posted, posted before the end of the week. Not that you as the reader care, but I need to do it. Hope everybody had a fun April Fools Day!
