We started this blog a little of a year ago in hopes to share what we are doing for fun. I have loved blogging and keeping a record of whats going on. Somedays I'm bad at blogging, but there are things I want to remember. Hope you have all enjoyed reading it.

Just a poll, if you are still reading, leave me a comment. I'm thinking about maybe making it private....maybe.

Some Pre-Wedding Fun

On Tuesday, I picked Libbi up from school extra early (she was still asleep for naptime.) I put her in her carseat and we started driving the wrong way "home." We got all the way to the Centerville exit before she asked me where we were going and if we were going to see Grandma. All I kept saying was that we were going to do something fun and to just relax. When we pulled into the Wal-Mart parking lot in Centerville, she couldn't figure out what was going on. We went in to wait for a suprise and in came Grandma, Kjersti, Carly and Aunt Mary! Libbi took off running towards them. What was the big suprise you ask...we were having pedicures so our toes wouldn't look stupid in our sandals for the wedding. Below are some pictures of our afternoon of fun. I had so much fun and so did Libbi. She even got her toes painted and flowers. We even got Carly to paint her toes! That has to be a first.

Hair Cut Fun!

Ok, so because Kjerstin was getting married, I broke down and took Libbi to have a real, professional haircut! A BIG THANK YOU to Vince and his patients and expertise for putting up with my wiggly, overexcited and energetic 4 year old. She had fun. As we walked out of the school, she fluffed her hair and said..."Don't we just look so beautiful with our new haircuts! Daddy will just LOOVE to have his hair cut here!" Libbi actually did really well all things considered. The secret, I made Vince turn her away from the mirror and took in a book she hadn't heard before and read to her like a teacher reads to her class. Really, she was just in for a trim, to even up the edges of her kitchen hair cut a few months ago.

24th of July Fun!

For the 24th of July, we were given tickets to the Bee's game to use a suite. So we asked Dusty and Amanda to come with us. It was a fun night, free food, free tickets and fireworks. Below are the pictures from that night.

This is Dusty trying to be funny....I on the other hand did not think this was funny and it made me nervous until Libbi's feet were safely on the ground.

Kenzi was so excited to be there!

Ha-ha, I just thought it was funny!

This is what most of our fireworks looked like.

If you ever want tickets to the Bee's, let me know, I happen to know a guy!

Girls Night Out!

I love Girls Nights! I especially love girls nights with my mom, sisters and cousins. We have been making it a tradition to go to a concert at least once a summer and this year....Kenny Chesney was in town. So we got our tickets and even talked Carly into going. It started with dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then we got to Rio Tinto Stadium around 5:30 pm. I swear, it was one of the hottest days of the summer because we were "Sweating in the worst possible place!" Right down the sides of faces. The concert was great fun. Below are some fabulous pictures from that night. I did decide that I don't like concerts at Rio Tinto....much to crowded and not very great sound. I vote next time, we only go if he plays at Usana Ampatheater!

Up close of the stage before the concert started.

This how far away we were sitting from the stage.

Encore...Somebody gave him a University of Utah hat (yuck!) and so he put it on for the encore.

Libbi's 4th Birthday of Fun (a Month Late!)

Happy Birthday to our Beautiful Princess. We started the day with letting her open her presents. She was so excited! The rest of the day, we just sort of hung out. We took her to lunch and to the park. On Sunday night (her birthday) we had strawberry shortcake so she could blow out a candle. She ate her straweberries and the whip cream but left the cake in the bottom. I thought it was funny!

On Monday evening, we had a party with the family's where we had popsicles and cupcakes, per Libbi's request. Can you believe that the only picture I got at the park is the one listed above?

Below are the pictures from her birthday:

Libbi got lots of fun things for her birthday. Thanks to everbody who helped us celebrate! We are still working on thank you notes, it's a long process when her attention span is very short.
