Happy Easter.....A Few Days Late

Do you ever get side tracked? Hmmm....well, I think along with procrastination, it should be my middle name. I have been meaning to post all of this for a week now and have yet to do it. So here goes. We had an enjoyable weekend. Kyle was planning to go to Little Sahara Sand Dunes for Easter weekend with some of the guys he works with. When one of them backed out, I decided I would go and Kyle talked Dusty and Amanda into accompaning us also. So we planned a little overnight road trip. Libbi opted to go to Grandma Cynthia and "Crock-a-molie's" house. A HUGE thank you to them for letting Libbi spend the weekend with them. I was in need of a little R&R and I got it. Here are a few moments from our weekend.

I learned to drive with a trailer....even if it was a small and light one. We drove to the sand dunes and found a little corner of the world to park and camp in the rain at the base of Sand Mountain. Of Course, we left right after Kyle got off work. We only had one small mechanical problem. The truck had been riding really rough all day and when we were about to hook the trailer up, Kyle looked under and found that the back drive line (this means nothing to me) was about to come undone, which would have been bad for us. They fixed it and we were on our way! Lucky for us, it only rained lightly and then cleared up. I didn't do a very good job packing for our trip, since I left the hamburgers for dinner at home in the freezer and we had no firewood for a fire. Good thing we found nice people who gave us some firewood. Thanks a million! On Sunday, Kyle stayed in bed until almost 8:30 before he was up and ready to ride his motorcycle. It was a beautiful day! Big fluffy white clouds on a perfect blue sky and warm enough in the sun to be comfortable. She said she had fun. She got to die easter eggs with Grandma Saturday night and go to sunbeams on Sunday morning. After church, she came home to find the Easter Bunny had filled her basket with plenty of suprises: After opening many suprises from the East Bunny, it was off to Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Parrish's for dinner and an egg hunt. The beginning of the hunt: The end of the hunt.....She must have found them all. That was the enjoyment of our Easter weekend. I'm going to try to post some video of Kyle on his bike, but I haven't seemed to grasp how to do that just yet. I hope you enjoyed the pictures and that you all had a Happy Easter!

Oh Goodness.......

Lot's has been happening this week and since this is my "journal" I need to take some time to get everything up here. My goal is to get all the things I want posted, posted before the end of the week. Not that you as the reader care, but I need to do it. Hope everybody had a fun April Fools Day!

Welcome to March....Bring on the Madness

Ok, so March is more than Half Way over, but, the Madness is begining! Oh how I love March Madness!



The good news is, most of the people around me are into college basketball (but are cheering for other teams) so we started a team bracket pool and spend our days watching CBS and the games. At least this way, I know how my brackets are doing. (I have 3 of them, each a little different.)

The best news.....Utah State got an invite......



Because they were the WAC Champions and they are AWESOME!



And Libbi even put on her Aggie shirt today, because it's game day!



A big thank you to Kjerstin for letting me borrow some pictures from her albums. (Even if she didn't know, she does now.) I hope she has had a fun season. They are in Boise today to cheer on our Aggies! Maybe she will blog about her adventures. After the selection on Sunday and we found out that Utah State was going to be playing in Boise, my mom called to see if I could get them rooms for last night. They were going to go, but couldn't find tickets. So Kjerstin, her roommates and a few other friends used the rooms we booked for them just so they could be there bright and early this morning to sit on the front row for the game. Watch for them on the TV! I wonder if she's awake.....I should call her! :)

A New "Sprize" for Libbi

Yesterday Libbi got a special suprise from Aunt Kjersti.... When she opened it up, she found a Valentine's card from Kjerstin that she wouldn't let go of and a BRAND NEW SUPER SOFT SNUGGLY! Nobody but Libbi is allowed to snuggle with this new snuggly, but Libbi will happily bring you another one to snuggle with if you ask her. Below is the picture of this new, fabulous snuggly and Libbi....after a long day of fun. She feel asleep sitting right up waiting for the highlights of the Utah State game last night. After all, it was Aggie Day!
