Weekend Fun.....

Ok, so it wasn't really the weekend, but I wanted you all to see what a bad mom I am. I was attempting to get Libbi ready to go Friday afternoon so we could pick Kyle up from work and then go to dinner or something for my birthday and turned on the curling iron to curl Libbi's hair. As I was searching for something, I heard her start screaming and when I found her she said that her curling iron had hurt her and all I could see was a white patch of skin. Quickly she had her arm immersed in running cold water and after she started to calm down, we soaked a paper towel and then curled her hair. She looked super cute and she still a little afraid of the curling iron, but who wouldn't be. We are keeping it covered, just so she doesn't accidentally bump it and because she is band-aide obsessed. Below are the pictures we took yesterday after her band aid fell off in the tub. I keep telling her it's a right of passage to being a girl. Poor thing! Friday night at dinner, she told the waitress that she had a band aid and then wouldn't tell the waitress what happened, she just went back to coloring. We'll have to see how she does at daycare today. She's been pretty protective of it.
We had a good weekend, including Birthday Lunch at Grandma and Grandpa Parrish's house. More to come when I have the pictures from my mom. I guess that means birthday week is officially over! Thanks to everybody who helped me celebrate!
